Metabolism measures how efficiently your body burns calories and uses energy.  Our test looks at 3 hormones- Testosterone, Cortisol and TSH which are critical in regulating the metabolic process.

Testosterone is the hormone responsible for all things manly. It's what gives men their deep voices, muscular physiques, and, well, you know. But did you know that testosterone also plays a crucial role in metabolism? Low testosterone levels can lead to a slower metabolism, which can make it harder to burn fat and build muscle. So, if you're a dude looking to get ripped, it’s important to see what your testosterone levels are.

Cortisol is often referred to as the stress hormone. When you're stressed, your body releases cortisol to help you deal with whatever's causing the stress. But too much cortisol can wreak havoc on your metabolism. It can cause your body to store more fat, especially in the belly area, and make it harder to lose weight. So, if you're feeling stressed out and can't seem to shake off those extra pounds, it might be your cortisol levels.

TSH is short for thyroid-stimulating hormone. Your thyroid gland produces hormones that regulate your metabolism, and TSH is what tells your thyroid to do its job. If your TSH levels are too high or too low, it can indicate an issue with your thyroid, which can affect your metabolism. So, if you're feeling sluggish and can't seem to shake off the fatigue, it might be your TSH levels.
