What we are looking at:

Testosterone, SHBG, Cortisol, TSH, Free Testosterone, Progesterone

Cardiac Risk

The hsCRP test offers valuable insight into inflammation, which is a key player in heart disease.

Cholesterol (Lipid Panel)

Cholesterol, HDL, LDL, Triglycerides, VLDL, Trig/HDL Ratio

Liver Function

AST, ALT, ALP, Albumin and BUN tests are instrumental in painting a picture of liver and bone health.

Kidney Function

Measures the amount of creatinine in the bloodstream. A creatinine blood test is commonly used to assess how well the kidneys are functioning. It provides insights into both kidney health and muscle mass.

Testosterone, SHBG, Free Androgen, Progesterone

Testosterone is fundamental for men's health, influencing muscle mass, bone density, and sexual function. Its impact, however, depends not just on its total level but also on its bioavailable form.

Sex hormone-binding globulin (SHBG) binds to testosterone, reducing its active availability. The fraction that remains unbound, known as free testosterone, is crucial for physiological functions.

Understanding the balance between total testosterone,
SHBG, and free testosterone is key in addressing men's health issues and ensuring overall well-being.

Stress Marker

Cortisol, often referred to as the “stress hormone” is a vital hormone produced by the adrenal glands. In addition to regulating stress responses, it also plays a crucial role in various bodily functions. It regulates metabolism, reduces inflammation, and maintains homeostasis. Elevated during stress, it helps the body respond to challenges but, if persistently high, can lead to health issues.

Liver Function

Liver function tests, including Aspartate Aminotransferase
(AST), Alanine Aminotransferase (ALT), and Alkaline Phosphatase (ALP), are crucial for assessing liver health. Elevated AST and ALT levels often indicate
liver cell damage, commonly seen in conditions like hepatitis or alcohol-related liver disease. High ALP levels may suggest bile duct obstructions or liver inflammation. Conversely, lower than normal levels can occur in certain deficiencies or infections, signaling potential liver dysfunction or damage. These tests help diagnose and monitor liver conditions effectively.

Cholesterols (Lipids)

Cholesterol, HDL, Triglycerides, LDL, VLDL, and Total Chol/HDL Ratio

A lipid panel is a comprehensive blood test that measures different types of cholesterol and fats in the blood to assess the risk of cardiovascular disease. HDL is known as "good" cholesterol because it
helps remove other forms of cholesterol from the bloodstream. LDL and VLDL are considered "bad" cholesterol as they can lead to plaque buildup in
arteries, increasing the risk of heart attacks and strokes. Triglycerides are a type of fat that, when elevated, can contribute to atherosclerosis. The Total Cholesterol/HDL ratio is used to predict the risk of developing heart disease; a lower ratio indicates a lower risk. Regular testing allows for the monitoring of these levels, which can be critical in preventing heart disease by initiating lifestyle changes or medication if necessary.

Cardiac Marker

High-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hsCRP) is a blood test that
measures low levels of CRP, a protein indicating inflammation in the body. It's
important because elevated hsCRP levels are associated with an increased risk
of cardiovascular diseases. This test aids in assessing heart disease risk
beyond traditional factors like cholesterol.

Thyroid Function

Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH)

The thyroid gland regulates metabolism, energy, and mood by
producing hormones. TSH testing is crucial as it evaluates thyroid function,
helping diagnose and manage conditions like hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism.
This test is key for early detection and effective treatment of thyroid-related

Cutting Edge Tech

Trust the science

More than 100 years of combined experience in laboratory medicine.

Our CLIA and Joint Commission accredited laboratory boasts the latest technologies to deliver timely and accurate results.

The Trybe Care Team is made up of a nationwide network of virtual care clinicians from a variety of specialties including: behavioral health, dermatology, family medicine, internal medicine, emergency medicine, women’s health, endocrinology, cardiology, and sleep medicine.

Everything we do at Trybe Labs has clinical oversight. Our team of doctors and nurse practitioners review every order and monitor all results to ensure that our clients are receiving the best clinical care available.

Our FDA approved pain free collection device allows us to collect real blood at home. NO fingersticks.

This in turn allows us to run FDA approved testing in the lab. Not the pseudoscience other labs are running on fingerstick blood spot cards.

You are getting the same quality of testing you get at a doctor's office without the hassle.

Hydrate. Hydrate. Hydrate.

Prior to sticking the device on your shoulder:

  • Rub your shoulder for 30 seconds to improve blood flow.
  • Disinfect the shoulder with provided alcohol pad.

That's it, now just Stick It, Click It, Drip It, Ship It.

Simply place our sample collection device on your arm, click the red button and let the blood flow. Be sure to read the detailed instructions or video that comes with your test kit.

Ideally you should try to provide the laboratory with a full tube or at least reach the 600uL line.

This ensures we will be able to run all requested tests.

You may not see blood for more than 5 minutes. Blood flow varies amongst patients and can take up to 10 minutes. Don't worry this is normal.

If you have an issue with the device email results@trybelabs.us

Don't stress. There's a good chance we will be able to run all your panels.

Because we run our own labs we can give hands on attention to every sample.

If there is an issue with your sample when we receive it, we will contact you.

You can expect your results within 72 hours of our laboratory receiving your sample.

You’ll receive your results securely on our web portal.

As part of our mission, we want to provide our patients with accessible testing and simplified results. Our results are visual and we provide articles on our website in the Library.

Trybe always recommends discussing your results with your personal physician.

In the meantime, check out our supplement line. If you have questions about your results chat with ChatGPT hosted on our site.

It is Trybe's goal to provide comprehensive telemedicine services in 2024.

Please send all comments and concerns to results@trybelabs.us

Right now, our testing is for anyone over 18 only.
